Changing or cancelling a slot
Please cancel as soon as you can to free up the slot for someone else. Unenclosed, single axle trailers under 2 metres long can visit our Yate, Mangotsfield and Thornbury sites. Some items are not accepted at all our centres.

Car booking – Five Lanes Recycling Centre
You must sign in to My Monmouthshire, if you do not have an account you will need to create one. Small amounts of Asbestos from a householder will be accepted at Five Lanes or Llanfoist HWRCs. Asbestos is hazardous waste and we would recommend that you contact a specialist contractor to deal with any asbestos waste safely.
Bookings can be made for the same day if slots are available, or up to 2 weeks in advance. You must book a slot before visiting this site. You can visit the recycling centre on foot. Make sure you still bring ID and arrive in the vehicle mentioned in the booking. There is a link to cancel your booking in the booking confirmation email.
You can book a slot up to 14 days in advance to access our four household waste recycling sites. The booking system allows us to monitor site use and add additional slots during busy times as required. You can now book a visit to the recycling centres by completing the online booking form, operational 24/7.
